The Two Worlds of South Africa
Our first time in South Africa was spent at the spectacular TDK Safaris. Our guides, Kevin Brits and Dakota McArtor were knowledgeable about everything safari and answered every question we had. I’ll never forget the first time I saw a giraffe in the wild, or lions protecting the rhino. I’ll never forget getting a massage in a “rondavel” and zip-lining across a beautiful valley. The food at TDK is some of the best food I have ever eaten. It was magical and I knew this wouldn’t be my only trip to South Africa. I wanted to go back and do it all over again but wanted to expand on my first experience.

On my second trip, I again visited the wonderful TDK Safari and experienced many things I hadn’t before. After a week there I flew to Cape Town for my customize private tour, and into a new world of South Africa. Cape Town is one of the most picturesque cities in the world.Customized Wine tasting Tour Flying in and seeing Table Mountain was breathtaking. Driving along the coast to Cape Point, eating in fabulous restaurants, seeing the darling penguins at Cape Peninsula, visiting wineries and all the while being chauffeured by an incredibly experienced and informed local guide named Broose Jones was extraordinary. Without him, we wouldn’t have had the rich experience we did.Customized Wine tour He knew just where to go and when. Due to his skillful knowledge, we visited places typical tourists wouldn’t know about. We learned so much about the culture and politics of South Africa. Again, like Kevin and Dakota, Broose could answer every question we had and then illuminate the topic. Most importantly, I always felt safe.

The short version is if you plan to visit South Africa, experience a safari, and then spend some time in Cape Town! You will treasure the two worlds of South Africa!
